Standing Together: In Solidarity with Israel.

Dear Members and Supporters of B’nai B’rith,

 

The past several days have been among the most challenging since the horrific attack on October 7. The unfathomable brutality with which Hamas executed six innocent people, after holding them hostage for over 11 months, defies comprehension.

 

We remember Ori Danino, Carmel Gat, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarusi, and Eden Yerushalmi. May their memories always be a blessing.

 

This is yet another heart-wrenching chapter in a story filled with unimaginable suffering since that fateful day. The horrors inflicted upon Israel are incomprehensible, yet Israel continues to be unjustly vilified for defending its citizens, for fighting back, and for doing what must be done to ensure such atrocities never happen again.

 

The global Jewish community is in a state of disbelief and pain, feeling isolated and unseen in our grief.

 

Even in the face of such profound darkness, we must remind ourselves that our connection to Israel and to each other remains unbreakable. The bond we share is our strength, and through this strength, we will endure. We must stand tall, together, shoulder to shoulder with Israel, and continue to call out the hate and bias that has taken root across the world.

 

With the unwavering resolve that defines the Jewish people, we will persevere. We will stand tall, proud, and united. Am Yisrael Chai.

 

With deepest solidarity and strength, our hearts and prayers call out for the immediate release of every hostage.
